We are excited to announce our latest podcast show:
Controversial Japan
Each episode we unpack one controversial opinion about the Japanese mindset, culture, and custom. We’ll be unpacking it from different angles: the Japanese understanding of things and the North American or Western way of interpreting things.
Yes, the show is a podcast! You can listen to it on your couch, in your car, at the park, (wherever you listen to podcasts).
You can support us by listening to the podcast as well as buying our merch. Your contribution helps us maintain the cost of our production as well as supporting the artists behind this project, so thank you!
Decaying Tongue
Decaying Tongue is "touching in its honesty, interesting through specific cultural details, and compelling with its ingenious structure and staging. It is inspired by the real-life search for self of Kaho Koda, the Japanese-born and, for eight years now, Canadian resident playwright and director of the show...The mixture of comedy and poetic symbols works very well." - Diana Manole - Mooney on Theatre
The Human Connection project
The Human Connection Project is a collection of seven monologues which explores relationships, memory, and fuzzy feelings. The monologues were inspired by submitted responses regarding personal experiences. This piece was created by artists from all over the world (Canada, The Netherlands, The UK, and Jordan) during a time of social distancing.
